Hi my name is Bev Ward, Lead Maternity Carer (or independent midwife). I am 54 years old and New Zealand born with a Dutch heritage. I have 17 years of midwifery experience and prior to that a nursing background specialising in paediatrics. I have three adult children of my own and inherited four more when I married Errol three years ago.

As a midwife I can provide home-births as well as hospital delivery. I also offer as part of my practice homeopathy/ naturopathy advice if requested. A focus of my practice is giving women and her family safe advice and options, supporting them through the pregnancy, during delivery and aftercare.

I have a deep commitment to helping women develop confidence and self awareness of themselves through this special time in their lives and hope to provide a knowledge base that helps them grow with nurturing their baby and children.
