Welcome to Bay Midwifery and Congratulations on your pregnancy!
My belief as a mother and a midwife is that pregnancy is a normal life event.
It is my job to ensure the health of you and your baby, valuing the physical, nutritional, spiritual, cultural and lifestyle factors that impact on your pregnancy.
You will be supported and feel confident through your pregnancy, which will help you create a strong mind in approaching your labour.
I will work in partnership with you, your family, other experienced midwives and specialists (if required) to ensure a well mum and baby.
My responsibilities as your midwife would include:
-
Listening to your needs Give you the best possible care according to your needs throughout the pregnancy
-
Ensure you are able to make informed decisions by providing you with the tools necessary
-
Provide full Antenatal Care
-
Provide full Postnatal Care at hospital and home
-
Breastfeeding guidance and support
-
Be available 24/7 for labours or emergency care while on call
In order to provide quality care for you and spend time with my family I have alternative weekends off. During this time, midwife Marie Woolsey will provide full care for you.
If you have any questions please call me. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
